1. About this policy
Buildora operates Buildora Message Automation to receive and organise WhatsApp enquiries and, when enabled, send an automated acknowledgement. This policy explains how information is handled through that messaging service. It does not describe unrelated features or tracking technologies on the rest of the Buildora website.
2. Information we process
When you contact Buildora through WhatsApp, we may process:
- Your WhatsApp phone number or account identifier and any profile or contact information supplied with the message.
- The text you send, including any name, contact details or project information you choose to include.
- Message identifiers, message type, timestamps and the business phone number associated with the conversation.
- Automated-reply records, processing outcomes and technical records used to prevent duplicate processing or repeated replies.
The current message log stores text messages. For non-text messages, it records a message-type label and associated identifiers rather than downloading the attachment. Messaging and hosting providers may also process technical connection information and service logs.
3. How we use information
We use this information to handle your enquiry, support follow-up by Buildora, maintain communication records, operate automated acknowledgements and investigate service errors or misuse. An automated acknowledgement does not mean that a person has already reviewed your message.
We do not sell or rent information collected through this messaging service.
4. Services used to process information
The service uses Meta/WhatsApp for messaging, Cloudflare to receive and verify webhook requests, and Google Apps Script and Google Sheets to process and store message records. These providers receive or process information needed for their respective roles. Buildora personnel who handle enquiries or administer the service may also access relevant records.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply to their services. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or to address fraud, abuse or a security incident.
5. Storage, retention and security
Message records and associated processing records are stored in Google Sheets. We retain records for handling enquiries, related follow-up, service administration and any applicable recordkeeping obligations. Records should be removed when those purposes no longer require them, subject to any applicable retention requirement.
Deletion is managed manually. The current automation has no automatic expiry for stored message records. A six-hour limit on repeated automatic replies does not delete conversation data.
The service uses HTTPS connections and verifies incoming webhook requests. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents through this service.
6. Access, correction, deletion and contact preferences
You may contact info@buildorabd.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of information associated with your WhatsApp number, or to ask Buildora to stop contacting you. Include your WhatsApp number with country code and a short description of the request. We may need to verify that the request relates to you.
Requests are handled manually. We will explain the outcome and any information that must be retained. Deleting a chat from your device does not by itself delete records held by Buildora. See the Buildora Message Automation — Data Deletion Instructions page for the request process.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or its information-handling practices change. The revision date will appear above.
